Sunday Funday - Happy Hearts Day!

Today is Keely's Getting to Know You Sunday - Valentine's Day Style. YAY. =)

Tell me your answers in the comments or write your answers in your own blog & then link up at Keely's - MannLand5.

Here are this week's questions:

1. Favorite Valentine's Day Candy?
the heart-shaped recees. mmmmm. (yes, they actually taste better than the regular recees. no, it's not in my head. i swear.)

i do NOT like the conversation hearts. cute as they are.

2. Pink or Red?
I like both. Usually i'd say Red, but apparently i'm suddenly loving pink (notice my blog background - geez!)

3. Will you be doing anything to celebrate today?
Yes! I made a delicious breakfast for him this morning. He gave me a dozen red roses. Right now we're relaxing, but later we're going to dinner and a movie. We watched a zillion trailers & decided on The Book of Eli, with Denzel Washington. And we'll have dinner at our favorite (& where we got engaged), Mike Anderson's. If you come to Louisiana & want genuine cajun cooking - Mike Anderson's is the place. YUM!

4. Do you put up Valentine's decorations?
Uh, NO.

5. What does Valentine's Day meant to you?
Ok, everyone says it's just a commercial holiday. But i happen to love it! Maybe it gets old to some people but this is only my 4th Valentine's Day in my LIFE. Oh, yes. 1997, 2008, 2009 & 2010. Yeah, i know i've said i was single for 11 years before my love came into my life, but some people assume that means i wasn't married or in an exclusive relationship. Sadly, i didn't even hardly DATE in those 11 years (with the exception of 2 or 3 very annoying very painful blind dates). So let me enjoy my dozen red roses on Valentine's Day!! Lord knows i had enough single ones!!

But seriously, Valentine's Day is a day to express your love to those you love. Sure you can do it any day (& of course you should) but if you need an excuse - you can do it today. And i don't mean just husbands & boyfriends! Your girlfriends & family deserve some extra loving, too!

6. Would you rather get flowers, candy or a night out?
Flowers. Just because i LOVE them but rarely get them. Not candy. Lord knows I don't need it! A night out is good if we're in the mood for it!

Flowers from Brad this morning. I love them.

7. Sexy lingerie...or nothing at all?
I can't believe i'm going to answer this... um...well...i mean... (nothing at all)

8. Do you say Valentine's Day or Valentime's Day? Uh - the first one. And, i didn't even know people said Valentime's Day! Wierd!

Oh, before i go, can i leave you with a sweet pic of my 2 loves?

Brad snoozing & Fievel looking out the window this morning - in their favorite chair. (Brad used to have this chair all to himself! HAHA!)

Happy Valentine's Day!

  4. The reece's cup is good for any holiday. The xmas tree is yummy, the heart is yummy, the easter egg is yummy, the pumpkin is yummy!

We saw the Book of Eli a few weeks ago. It was really good. I want to see it again. Very good surprising ending.

    Have fun!

  5. Holiday Reese's (hearts, eggs, pumpkins, trees) are definitely better than the regular ones. There is more PB.
