I didn't get to do yesterday's so... here we go! How we met. The longer version of this story is told here. But i don't remember meeting my husband. Why? Well, i was an infant. And he was age 3. Yeah - our parents met at church when we were kids. They started hanging out together & i have lots of memories at their house. Then we lost touch for a few years but then we got together again! And that time - we fell in loooove. Oh, yes, he was my first love...we were so young! See?
Now today's topic is Favorite Date Story, good or bad! And I'd say my favorite date with him was February 16, 2008. We had just gotten back together after 11 years apart! CRAZY. And when he first called me after 11 years it was wierd, awkward, i wasn't at all sure WHY he was suddenly back in my life! We went on 3 dates & then we realized it wasn't going to work. But a few weeks later he emailed me & we ended up writing LONG emails back & forth, talking about what had happened 11 years before, sorting things out. After about a month & a half of nothing but letters i knew he was the one. Isn't that crazy?! But it's true. So, the date. We went to Carraba's. SO YUMMY. And sweet. We didn't say much - we just kept looking at each other all googly eyed & love sick. HAHA. I wish i had a picture from that dinner. I don't, but i think this one was from later that day...or so.
