My friend Carley posted this on Facebook - it was taken at her apartments. But the last few times I went to Subway near my work, not one but TWO cars parked like this. Considering that parking lot is PACKED during lunch hour, that left out 2 spots that someone could have had. UGH!!
Why do people do this?!
On another note, last week while going to Whole Foods, I pulled into a spot quite crookedly. I was still inside my two lines, but was just needing to back up & straighten out. i was planning on doing that but was waiting for the car behind me to pass by. I look in front ready to straighten up & this lady who was walking back to her car next to me, looked at me & yelled, "NO NO, YOU ARE CROOKED!!!!"

Haha! You're Crooked!! that's hilarious! I hate when people park like that too...when I lived in Houston It happened all the time!
ReplyDeleteI think people park like that because they think they have really nice cars and are afraid that if they park normal another car will pull in beside them and hit their car. Anyways... to protect their car. That's the explanation I heard before.
ReplyDeleteI've heard what Laura said as well. However, I think that logic has some holes since whenever I see a car parked like that, I want to hit it more than ever ;)
