5QF - yay!

I love Five Question Friday. It makes me happy. Thanks, Mama M! If you'd like to play along... just answer the below questions in your own blog & then go to Mama M's for the blog hop (that is...when she posts it... I'm being a bit of an early bird!)

1. Do you sing out loud in the car when you're driving?
Oh, yes. Absolutely. All the time. I love to sing!
Except in the early mornings. Not a morning person. Don't like to talk, much less SING! ;)

2. What would you never be caught doing?
Sleeping in class/church/anything like that. No matter HOW boring it is. I was never the type to pay attention super well all the time, either. I'm a huge daydreamer/doodler if i'm not just completely interested in the subject of the class. But to fall asleep?! Horrors! Can't do it.

I think this probably came from my 9th grade english teacher - one day we went into class & some kind from the class before us was DEAD asleep. The teacher would not wake him up, he just let him sleep. Less than 5 minutes into class, the kid woke up & started looking around & realized we were not his classmates. In a panic, he grabbed his stuff & jumped up & then stopped & looked at Mr. O'Brien & said, "Dude! Why didn't you wake me up?!" & Mr. O'Brien just shrugged nonchalantly & said, "Dude. That's not my responsibility." The guy was like, "But..." & then had nothing to say... he ran out to his next class. I thought that was hilarious. But awful, too. ;)

3. Will you go #2 in a public restroom?
Well, i'd RATHER not. But - when ya gotta go - ya gotta go!

4. Have you ever broken a bone?
No. And i cannot imagine. Since i once fractured my finger & it hurt like hell!
Seriously - i was sitting in the front seat of my parent's van & somebody in the back slammed the sliding door just as i was reaching back for my seatbelt...i reached a little too far...omg...OWWWWW. My ring finger on my right hand...still crooked...

5. Do you prefer cooking or baking?
COOKING!

That was fun! Your turn! ;)

  3. That is a great story of the kid falling asleep in class. And a smart teacher!

And ouch about the finger! I can't imagine getting it in the sliding door! I'm shuddering just thinking about it.
