5QF! Yay!

1. If you could have any talent & turn it into an occupation, what would it be?
I would love to be able to do animation...to somehow work in that field...i think it would be such a fun job! But i am really bad at drawing...& i'm assuming you have to be somewhat good at that? Though they do it all from a computer now, right? Anyway, side note: you should watch the behind-the-scenes footage on the How to Train your Dragon movie. I watched it last weekend & was intrigued! Would be such a fun job! Though i would love to be one of the voices, too!!

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods?
BOTH!!! I'd stay at the beach in the summer & the cabin in the winter!!
{sigh} If i MUST pick just ONE, i'll go with a house on the beach.

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning behind the names you chose for your child(ren)?
I don't have kids yet, but the names we have in mind are just names we really like. Though i would like to pass down my middle name, Raye, i'm not sure it goes with the first names we have picked. We'll see!

4. What is your guilty pleasure?
Right now? These. Ohmygosh. YUM. & they are "mini" - just enough "sweet".
5. Do you live in a house that is "deep cleaned" or "straightened"?
I'm assuming you mean am i (A) more of a "cleaner" - i keep everything dusted, vaccuumed, etc, but do not necessarilly keep things picked up? OR (B) more of a "straightener" - i keep everything organized & put away, but have a hard time keeping the floor mopped.

That would be B. I have a place for everything & everything goes in its place. But i really hate mopping. And i'm not as consistant in dusting or cleaning the bathroom, either. I think i shall do these things this weekend!!

I had this conversation with roomies of mine years ago...it seems most people are one are the other, but not both (& sometimes neither! ha!).

Happy Friday, y'all! If you'd like to play along, link up here!

  5. I used to be a straighten and deep cleaner. I am OCD like that. It was one of the many things I had to let go after having children. There is not enough time (or energy for that matter) to do both. Have a good weekend!

  6. I just read in City Social or Country Road today that one of the animators for that movie is from Slidell!!! How cool! He worked at a small design place there and then landed a job with Dreamworks!!! I thought that was really neat :)
