5QF: more Christmas!

1. Do you regift? And if so, do you  have a re-gifting horror story?
I do not re-gift.
HOWEVER.
This year we did White Elephant at work & we choose to do GOOD gifts with a $20 value.
I got 2 VERY UGLY shirts this year. A white one with mint green embroidery & a mint green one with bunched looking material. U-G-L-Y. Not only that but they were a small. Tell me. WHY would you get CLOTHES for this kind of game, where you do not know who is going to pick your gift? Not that everyone is a fatty at work, but people in a size small are the MINORITY. And, i wouldn't even wear this if it WAS in my size. UGLY.

My husband, who has NO fashion sense, saw it in the car yesterday & was like "OMG! Are you SERIOUS?!" I had already told him about it, but whatever he pictured in his head was NOT as ugly as the gift itself.

All that to say - that gift may have been a re-gift. Just sayin. AND i just may re-gift it next year. If i can hold on to it that long. I usually like to get rid of things like that IMMEDIATELY.

I know this may hurt feelings of whoever brought it, but REALLY?! That gift made NO sense.

{my coworker gave me HER gift which was a CUTE Christmas decoration that didn't match her own Christmas stuff at home. So, i still lucked out.) :)

2. Do you know what you are getting for Christmas this year?
Nope. Not a clue. We do wish lists, but *ahem* my list was a bit long. So i really have no clue what i will get! Though Brad said part of my Christmas will be money towards my new camera!! {SQUEAL!}

3. Who brings the most gifts in your family? You or Santa?
Umm...i don't think this applies to us? No children in our family yet...

4. What store do you love to buy jeans from?
Woah. Random... i don't LOVE to buy jeans, ever. BUT they are my favorite things to wear. The best ones for women like me...are found at Lane Bryant. I have some on now.

5. Christmas Meal: Big All-Out Meal or Appetizers & Snacks?
With my mom's side we do Appetizers & Desserts. It's fun! Christmas Day, with Brad's family, we do a big meal. More potluck style as in everyone brings a dish. SOOO good!!! :)

  1. I have one word for your #1...GOODWILL!! Ha, seriously, who does that for a white elephant game??

I'm in charge of the big meal for Christmas and it is STRESSING me out. It doesn't really matter, but I want it to be good since it's just us. Haha, I might go all out! But who knows.

  2. That's funny about the shirts! If I were a gambling person, I would put money on the fact that they were re-gifted. They probably forgot to get something so went through their pile of unwanted gifts from previous years. :)

Where does the jeans question fit in with Christmas? Random is right! :)
