brownie covered oreos!!! $

I am so excited that i finally made these! I've been wanting to make them since Jenny from Picky Palate first posted them on Facebook. I shared the link & within minutes had tons of comments! Several of those friends made these right away & said they turned out amazing & were a huge hit!!

Tomorrow i will bring these to work, along with some shrimp dip. We're all taking turns bringing treats this month. My friend Charlynn requested these for her birthday, too, so i'll be making another batch later on this week!

I was not sure how they would turn out. Jenny's recipes are all just fantastic, but i just wasn't sure if mine would turn out as cute as hers! I didn't have the same kind of icing either. But everything worked out just fine! A little different from hers, but still cute! & delicious!

Here is the recipe. Easy-Peasy!!

Brownie Covered Oreos
Check out the original recipe at Picky Palate.

1 brownie mix (or use your own brownie recipe)

1 package oreos (i used the "candy cane" ones.)

white icing (I used Betty Crocker's cupcake icing. It worked perfectly!)

And Sprinkles!!

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Prepare brownie batter according to package directions.  Leave in mixing bowl.  Dip Oreos in brownie batter then place in bottom of cupcake tins that have been generously sprayed with cooking spray.  Bake for 12-15 minutes, until brownies are cooked through (doesn’t take long).  As soon as you remove, take a plastic knife and run along edges, (this is VERY important so you get the cookie out with brownies not stuck to pan).

2. Remove from pan & place on wire rack to cool. Let cool for five minutes. Then drizzle with icing & sprinkle! Enjoy!

Makes entire package of oreos.
