My favorite Bible Verse: "For you turned my wailing into dancingYou removed my sackcloth & covered me with joyThat my heart may sing to you & not be silentOh, Lord, my God, i will give you thanks forever." Psalm 30:11-12 I call that my "testimony verse" because i used to be a very sad, depressed person & God totally did a work in my life that turned it all around. My depression was from some things i went through in my teen years, and i think forgiveness was the main thing God taught me that brought me into a JOYFUL life. Don't get me wrong - i still face depression at times, but not at ALL to the degree that i did back then. This verse is also a promise to me, that when i face those times in the future, God will turn it around & cover me with His joy. :) Favorite TV Quote: "When you're a kid you assume your parents are soulmates. My kids are going to be right about that." -Pam, the Office. I saw that one on someone's facebook page recently, and thought it was brilliant. I was told it came from The Office. Love it! Favorite Sermon Quote: "Live your life as if it all depends on you...knowing all the while that it all depends on Him!"-Charles Spurgeon, I THINK! I heard this one just this past Sunday at church. Pastor Terry was preaching on fasting & he mentioned this quote while he was preaching. Sometimes we get lazy spiritually, believing that if something is the plan for our life, then it will happen no matter what we do. But that's not true! God still wants to hear from us, we sometimes need to fast or pray about things. I love this quote! and, last but not least - my favorite quote of all time: "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." -Henry David Thoreau This one speaks for itself, i think. :) Tell us your own favorite quotes & link up here!
