New Year's Eve

We had a great time together last night. Yeah, we were pretty low-key. Just stayed home & hung out. I was kind of disappointed around 7, when Brad said he didn't think he'd be able to stay up till midnight. And then i started yawning...ha! But we both did stay up to ring in the new year - just barely!

We first ate pizza & watched Elf. This pizza is AMAZING. We love Digornio's Pizza. And yes, i realize it's not healthy, thankyouverymuch. This is kind of a last hurrah...and it won't make much difference considering how badly i have been eating this holiday season! Ugh! Anyway, it was delicious & was worth every bite!

I have been meaning to watch Elf, and we finally got to it! We LOVED IT. It was HILARIOUS! Ohmygosh, i will definitely be watching that one year after year! Don't know what took us so long. FYI, we watched A Christmas Story last weekend, too...it was Cute!! :)

After the movie, we played Phase 10 & drank a little wine. It was fun. I beat Brad pretty good! HAHA. He wasn't too happy. :) Well, he's always a good sport, but i am sure he was glad when the game was over!

If you've ever played Phase 10, you know what this means, right?

 Woohoo!

Yes...very low-key new year's eve! Ha.

I also put out my 2011 calendar! I love a new calendar! HA! I found this coffee one & thought it was too cute! :)

CUTE! Well, happy new year everyone! I can't believe it's 2011 & i can't wait to see what's in store for this year. :) Today we're hanging out at home, doing some organizing & at 4, we're going to have dinner at Brad's parents. May watch a movie or play a game over there too. Have a great day!

  3. That is a darling calendar!!!! Love it! And (gasp) I have no clue what Phase 10 is!!!

we always have a lo-key new years. In fact...I went to bed at 10, mainly because my little man (8 year old) was totally exhausted and wouldn't go to bed without his brother. I convinced him to go to bed with me, which thrilled him beyond belief because "Mommy and Daddy have a super comfy bed!"

  4. Sounds like you had a great New Year's Eve! We also stayed home. We were supposed to go to our church for a fun evening of eating and games, but opted to stay home instead. We watched movies, had popcorn, and we, too, cooked a couple frozen pizzas. Chicken bar-b-q from Sam's Club. They were yummy!!

So far today, I haven't even taken a shower and it is 1:41 as I type this. :) I will though. We're just chilling, watching movies and playing the Wii. No plans to go anywhere, which is just fine with me. It has been pouring down rain all morning which makes me want to curl up and take a nap. :)

    Enjoy your evening!

  6. That is totally our kind of NYE! We went to Noodles for dinner and I had pad thai...(it's not a sit down resteraunt, kinda like nicer and better quality fast food) and then we came home, watched "Knight and Day" with Tom Cruise (I give it a B) and then watched the ball drop. It was low key, totally our style.:)
