Fill in the Blanks: magazines

Today's Fill in the Blank Friday is about magazines! FUN! 

1. If i could choose only one magazine to read for the rest of eternity, I'd choose ...gosh, that is a toss-up between Self & Real Simple. I am a cover-to-cover reader & both of these are jam-packed full of great tips, recipes & good articles.

2. If i were to publish my own magazine, it'd be a fun woman's magazine - a cross between real simple, in style & southern living. It would have fashion & home decor, but also travel, celebrity interviews & great recipes.

3. I buy my magazines (check out line or subscriptions?) ...well, i used to be queen of grabbing a People in the check-out line at Walmart. It was kind of an addiction. I stopped buying them except for long road trips because i was spending way too much money on them. But a few months ago i won 4 free subscriptions just for doing a survey online! Then my mom-in-law got me a subscription! I currently get 5 free magazines in the mail! I will be really sad when my free year is over!! Hah!

4. I prefer my magazines in (print or online?) print, hands down. I don't like reading the screen, except when reading your blogs. :)

5. The number of magazines i buy each month is ZERO. I get them for free (for now haha).

6. My favorite magazine genre is (lifestyle, gossip, home, etc) home decor & i have to admit, i like the gossip ones, too, but i really only flip through those while i'm waiting in line at Wal-mart. You know, to pass the time since they only keep 4 out of 25 lanes open. :)

7. The magazines I read regularly are Southern Living, Real Simple, Entertainment Weekly & 225. I also enjoy Self, Health, People, In Style, Rachael Ray, & Lucky.


I can't believe i forgot to mention 225 Magazine! It is a free local magazine here in Baton Rouge. I don't know if my local friends would agree or not, but i LOVE 225 Magazine. It is SO well done, great quality & I think i would pay for it if they charged! They are always full of fun articles, interviews, restaurant reviews, & stories of what's going on in Baton Rouge. I guess it's a entertainment/gossip magazine about the people in our city. I always read it cover to cover. BR Friends - do you read/enjoy 225 Magazine? Just curious!
