Sorry I've been so absent. My theatre schedule is insane, and it seems all I have time to post during the week is silly fun questionaires, like this one. They just don't require a lot of time or thought. I have some other things to post & will this weekend! My schedule just has me on the go, all the time! I'm having fun, but am already ready for May!! Rehearsals will end, performances will begin & i'll have a bit more free time. :)

What would you do with an extra $2000 a month?
Seriously??? BUY A HOUSE! I'd save it for awhile, have a down payment & then use it after that for the monthly note. I do not plan to get a house that has a $2,000 monthly note...which means i'd have some leftover! I'd put aside some to afford bootcamp each month, a maid twice a month (for real!) & would put the rest in savings each month... i'm sure we'd need it for future children's expenses & well, our cars are both old. Not sure how much longer they'll last.

$2,000 doesn't sound like much to some, but it'd be a huge blessing for us!

I love a roadtrip, but not TOO FAR! We drove to Illinois twice - that was too far. I went on a field trip to DC once...on a big charter bus...that was too far also! I like to fly. I say, 7 hours in a car...that's getting to be a bit too long for me!

ReplyDeleteAn extra 2k would be fantastic! Think of how much you could savveeeee! I don't mind cleaning, but I would definitely pay someone to do the laundry for us once a week.

I don't re-gift either. It just seems so wrong!
One time someone gave me a gift I never ever ever used. It sat in the box in my cabinet for years, literally years. Finally one day I put it out at a garage sale and guess who stopped by? Yep,the original gifter and did she ever lay into me! I just told her if she wanted it the price was on it otherwise leave me alone. LOL I was so irritated.

I agree, an extra 2K a month would be AWESOME! We would save SO much more than we are now. After the 26 hour drive to CA, I'm done with roadtrips. Haha! May is almost here!
ReplyDelete2k a month would be amazing! I don't like going too far either on road trips. Like 5 hours is plenty. I'm not real crazy about flying. I have an obsession with watching planes, they really fascinate me, but I like to see them from the outside. :) Although, I have been on quite a few flights.
