Wee Bit with Leigh Ashley

Time for the 40th edition of Wee Bit Wednesday with Leigh Ashley. A little break from the crazy. :)

{ONE} What is one food that, as an adult you love, but as a child you said you'd never touch?

Oh, probably lots of vegetables. The only one i still hate is beets. Gag.

{TWO} Did you go to college? If yes, what was your major?

I did go to college...BRCC (the community college) & LSU. I didn't finish, but my majors were Secondary Education/English, then English/Creative Writing & then, very briefly before i decided that college was just NOT for me, Social Work.

{THREE} What's the most wild animal you've seen in real life (not counting the zoo)?

Deer. Most often in the woods behind my parent's house. They are so beautiful!

{FOUR} Have you ever been to a fortune teller?

Nope.

{FIVE} Can you juggle?

Nope!

{SIX} Hardwood Floors or Carpet?

Hardwood. But we have mostly carpet. I hate it. It's ugly. And most likely a major contributor to our allergies. But if we were to save the money to redo the floors, we would want the money to go toward's a house instead... then again...if the house thing won't happen for a few years...I'd rather just get the carpet ripped out, already.

{SEVEN} Is it called "soda" or "pop"?

Here, we don't say either. We say "coke" or "sprite" or "dr. pepper" or whatever the case may be. Some say we say "coke" for ALL of the above, but i have never done that! We just say the specific one we're referring to! Like this: "What do you want to drink?" "I'll have a Sprite, please."

NOT "i'll have a coke." "What kind?" "A Sprite." NO! I have never ever heard this here in all my 33 years. :)

All that said - i actually DID get into the habit of saying "soda" when i went on a missions trip YEARS ago...i was with people from all over the USA & most of them said "soda". I actually like it. So i use it, sometimes. But that's just me.

{EIGHT} What was your first car?

A 1996 Toyota Corolla

{NINE} What is the most decadent dessert you've ever eaten?
Wow, what a question! Do you really wanna make my mouth water? Man! I can't think of one. I've had many, though. I'm thinking something with ice cream & brownie & hot fudge? It's been awhile.

{TEN} How often do you rearrange your furniture?

I actually haven't since i've been married. I would love to, but there is only one other way furniture can go in our bedroom & i don't like it that way. Our bed is just a queen, but it takes up most of the room! I have been wanting to rearrange the living room & i have some ideas. Not sure when i'll do it, though!
