I got the job!!!

I am so excited I can hardly stand it! 

*I GOT THE JOB!*

I will be working at Aveda Institute. It's a cosmetology school here in Baton Rouge. They have them in several other places in the south as well. I officially start December 12th, but I will go in next Monday & Tuesday. They get a new crop of students & will be having orientation for them, so they would like me to be there for that.

I am absolutely ecstatic!

I am so unbelievably thankful. I was hoping to find something before January 1st, and I did! I was hoping to not be in the same kind of field as I was before, and I'm not! I met a lot of people when i went for my interview & everyone was so nice & friendly! They are all artsy types & you know... I fit in very well with that type of environment. So, i'm pretty excited about that, too!

Not to mention a better salary than I had before & a wonderful benefits package!

Don't ask me what I will be doing yet, because I don't remember! HA! They threw a lot of information at me while I was there, but I do know it was stuff I felt that I'd really enjoy doing. I will be working in Student Services.
