So this past weekend was wedding weekend. I cannot believe it finally arrived. Whew, that was a long engagement! Haha! I'll break this up into several posts. I took a lot of pictures!
My mom & I headed to New Orleans on Thursday. It's almost 2 hours away. We had so much stuff packed (there's a lot to pack for a wedding weekend when you are riding with the mother of the bride!) that we had to drop off our stuff at the Sheraton in order to have room for Tiffanie & Joe and their luggage! We headed back to the airport to get Joe & Tiff (my sister's best friend & husband from England) & then we went back to the hotel to rest.
And ohmygosh. Most comfortable beds EVER!
My dad & Brad rode up later on & met us at the church for the rehearsal. The wedding was to be held at St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square, New Orleans. Very famous cathedral. It's a family tradition to get married there. Once that was over, we headed to Andrea's Restaurant for dinner. It was yummy!

We had a choice of two desserts & this was my pick. I don't remember what it is called but ohmygosh! Delicious!

We had a really good time. I wish I had taken a pic of the bridesmaid's gifts. Jewelry to wear with our bridesmaid's dresses. A real champagne-colored pearl with one diamond above it. I absolutely LOVE the jewelry we got! I mean... LOVE! My sister has excellent taste! Haha!
