This weekend, I... {v. 11}

Wait - can we back up? Because I got my hair cut on WEDNESDAY & I don't think I've shared that yet... have I?

I LOVE IT. Thank you, Heather! 

Also, me & my love had a mini-date on Thursday.

For those of you who do not know, a "mini-date" is a date squeezed in between work & theater. This happens when i've had too much theater & not enough husband & have to have emergency time with my husband! So we went to La Madeline's for about an hour before I had to be at the theater. :) I love him!

ANNNNND, NOW we are to the weekend. :) 

This weekend, I was sad because one of my FAVORITE students graduated. 

I was also proud. :) 

This weekend, I ran sound four more times before finishing this season's A Christmas Carol. It was a great show & I am glad I got to be a part of it. I took pics at the Saturday performance...you know - between sound cues. :)

This weekend, I took a pic with Santa! He came by the theater. :)

This weekend, I was gifted some chocolates... and did not eat them! (I really hope Emily doesn't read my blog - if she does - sorry, Emily!) It is HARD for me to say no to chocolate & I was SO TEMPTED, but ya'll. I am a little over THIRTY days free of sweets! And this is HUGE for me! And i know it's "only four bites" of candy - that's the same kind of rationalization I used - but the problem is if i ate it, i'd be stopping at the nearest Walgreens tomorrow for an entire bag. That's how bad it is. So i came home & gave it to my husband, immediately. :)

This weekend, I cried when I found out that my friend's baby died. She had healthy twin babies in mid-November and almost a month later, one of the twins died of meningitis. I cannot even... i cannot stop thinking about her. I did a show with her last year and she had just found out she was pregnant. I am devasted for her & hope she is holding up okay.

This weekend, I sobbed over the 26 people that were killed in Newtown, Connecticut. I am sorry but i couldn't do this post without mentioning it, because it's been on my mind the entire weekend. My heart is broken for the whole town. Especially the families who lost children or wives or daughters or sisters. God, help them. Comfort them. Bring peace to them. 

Please keep these last two mentions in your prayers.
