I really cannot believe I have gone three full days without any coffee, or sugar, or bread, or anything like that. Not anything out of a box, for crying out loud! I am actually doing this!! :)
And yes, we are allowed coffee, but not with anything in it except coconut milk, which we do not have. I have said before that when this is over i will go back to having coffee with stevia. There is nothing like a cup of coffee, and i miss it! I only tried it black once, the other day, and wasn't a fan. Don't know if i want to acquire a taste for that!
Today went well. I woke up feeling strange. The website says Days 2-3 are The Hangover, i didn't experience that AT ALL yesterday, but today? UM... yes. I woke up feeling STRANGE. I was trying to explain to a friend how i was feeling, and i said, "I don't know... i'm not hungry... i don't have a headache... I just feel like... I have a hangover!" Haha. And yep. That about fit the bill! (I have never actually had a hangover. But that's what I imagine it feels like! Then again, i didn't have a headache or nausea, so... maybe not.)
I started to get a really bad headache towards the end of the afternoon, and it hasn't gone away. Pretty horrible headache. But it's all good. It will be gone - eventually! :)
Towards 4, i got REALLY sleepy. I work until 6, but we don't get that many patients after 4. I was so tired, i could NOT stop yawning. And it wasn't my typical tired from being out late the night before or something. i was just DRAGGING. OMG. I am still dragging! But i am behind in photo editing, and gotta get to it! I took this at work. Haha. :) (I didn't really nap at work, promise!)
Today, for breakfast i had the same thing: fried eggs, avocado & tomato. It's just so delicious! For lunch, I had a plum, some almonds, and some baked chicken. For a snack, i had some carrots. And for dinner, I had baked chicken & sweet potatoes! YUM!!! (Yes, we're allowed those. It felt like dessert with that cinnamon sprinkled on them!)
Ooh, and i got my new book today!!!
Did well today. But tired. And ohhhh so headachy!
Brad flopped down on the floor & napped while i cooked dinner. He is apparently completely out of energy. He barely ate his dinner, and he went straight to bed. Poor man!! I am so proud of him, though. They had a special thing at work with CAKE & he had none. Just sat at his desk and ate his lunch from home. They pressured him into having one piece & he was like, "No... i can't!" LOL. So proud! Haha! And thankful! :)
Awesome going so far!! After 30 days you might not want that coffee anymore!!

Girl, you are AMAZING! You've got this!! I am so excited to read your blog each day. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am going to read more about this...I mean, I like doing the WW plan...and the accountability with the meetings and weigh ins...but like we have talked about before...I think I need a few more "rules" when it comes to what to eat. And, obviously...the healthiest way to eat is less processed junk!!
ReplyDeleteDo you read Louisiana Bride (http://www.louisianabrideblog.com/)? If not, you really should! For her 31 days posts she's been writing frugal paleo recipes. And I saw her post some type of coconut milk creamer on instagram recently. Not sure if she ever posted the recipe, but it seems like something you'd appreciate!
